About
I am a software engineer who loves solving problems and building things! In 2018, I graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. While in college, I realized my passion for software development, and chose to pursue engineering instead! Since then, I have moved to San Francisco, California, graduated from General Assembly's Software Engineering immersive, and now work as a full-time Software Engineer at Stanford University School of Medicine. In my spare time, I enjoy working on my side projects and contributing to open source software.
Besides my passion for software and technology, some of my other hobbies include: reading, skateboarding, playing guitar, photography, music, and traveling! I am always interested in meeting new people, as well as attending tech meetups in the Bay Area! Feel free to reach out to me via my social media links in the sidebar and the contact section.
Experience
I currently work at Stanford University as a Software Engineer, and I am part of a team that develops an open-source genetics application for the National Institutes of Health.
The tech stack I work with includes React, Amazon Web Services, Serverless, and DynamoDB.
In December 2018, I graduated from General Assembly's Software Engineering Immersive.
This 3-month long immersive taught me industry standards and best practices, preparing me for my career as a software engineer.
In 2018, I graduated from the University of Florida with my degree in Biology.
Science and medicine have always been my passion, and my goal was to attend medical school before I discovered my love for software development and computer science.
